This is one of the experiences of Guru Shri Shiridi Sai Baba which has inspired me to take up distribution of 1 million books of Vishnu Sahasranamavali over 3 years ago. Our Shirdi Sai Baba, on commentating about the merits of Vishnu sahasranama, said: "Oh Shama, this book is very valuable and efficacious, so I present it to you, you read it. Once I suffered intensely and My heart began to palpitate and My life was in danger. At that critical time, I hugged this book to My heart and then, Shama, what a relief it gave me! I thought that Allah Himself came down and saved Me. So I give this to you, read it slowly, little by little, read daily one name at least and it will do you good."
The Consort of Goddess Shree listens to our pleas and surely helps. We need to just call out His Divine Names when in trouble.
Just to share an experience:
Last year, my Father started having nervous issues like seizures, weak limbs, etc. and despite medications, he was not cured.
We were worried and kept chanting Sri Lakshmi Ashtothra and Sri Vishnu Sahasranama daily.
When things went really bad, we were asked to do a brain MRI and found that he had a benign 4 cm x 5 cm x 4 cm tumour in his right brain.
We were told that he needs a surgical removal immediately as his life was in danger and that he might even get paralysis in left limbs post surgery and many other problematic consequences.
Though we were shocked and disappointed, we continued to chant Sri Lakshmi Ashtothra and Sri Vishnu Sahasranama.
Sri Ranganayaki, Mother of the Universe, pitied us and flowers fell from Her Archa (Photo) in our puja room when were praying on the day of hospital admission! And this happened when last line of 25th Thirupavai pasuram was being recited during our regular prayers!!
Next day was the day of surgery and when we are praying, Sri Ranganatha, the Father of the Universe followed suit and flowers fell from His Archa (Photo) in our puja room!!!
Encouraged, we chanted Sri Lakshmi Ashtothra and Sri Vishnu Sahasranama 9 times during the surgery.
My Father came back fit and fine with 0 negative consequences and we are all smiles now.
And yes, throughout the ordeal my Father had no headache (which surprised medical fraternity) and within 5 days from the date of mri scan, the surgery was over. This is also due to the Lord of Lakshmi's grace as it saved lot of physical pain and mental agony.

I have been reading Vishnu sahasranam to learn it. I suddenly got this immense desire to learn it and started reading daily.It takes about 30 minutes to read . Few things I observed
1. No matter how bad my mood is when I start Vishnu sahasranamam when done I am happy and satisfied
2. My heart rate ( in Fitbit ) drops low while chanting even though I am reading loudly
3. Once done , I look forward to reading it next day . Just remember it takes 30 minutes to finish and I am mother of two kids but I have immense longing to read it again. . Dear Devotees I just read all your blogs time to time about reading VSN, there miracles all your experiences.
I worked with a good organization, but suddenly ther is drastic change in my life. In Nov 2018, is my last working day in the organisation. Now i am jobless. Daily i read sai satcharitra and pray to god to give me permanent job. Then with a grace of god i got the job in FEB 2019 but due to circumstances i worked there till April 2019 (2 months). Being jobless again praying to god to give job, within 1 month i got the job through 3rd party and after 17 days the contract (3rd party) there is a dispute between owner and contractor. They told me the i will tell u another company from tomorrow onwards no need to come. Now i am again job less.
Please help me how to get rid of tension. And GET THE PERMANENT JOB
I Had so many problems in my life...including addiction of alcohol..loss of huge money in stock market etc. but by God s grace I came to know the amazing eefects of VSN. SO Istarated chanting everyday morning for last 8/19 months. Now I feel its real effects in Life. Truely speaking it works. My Lifes problems are solved one by one....and I Feel protected By GOD...HARI OM
